Welcome to Events by D. By accessing our website, purchasing tickets, or booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Business Structure & Governance
"Events by D" is a registered business operating under the laws of Sri Lanka. All official transactions, ticketing agreements, and services are governed by the legal framework of Sri Lanka.
2. Role of Events by D
Events by D operates as an online ticketing platform and event coordinator. For public events (concerts, dramas, seminars, etc.), tickets are hosted and sold by Events by D on behalf of independent third-party Event Organizers. Events by D is not the host, owner, or creator of these public events.
3. Payments & Financial Transactions
All online ticket sales, booking deposits, and digital transactions are securely processed via the official Internet Payment Gateway (IPG) provided by the Bank of Ceylon. Events by D does not store or process card numbers on its servers. Transactions will appear on your bank statement under our registered business billing name.
4. Third-Party Catering & Food Services
Events by D partners with independent, licensed third-party catering companies, hotels, and restaurants to fulfill food services for organized events. Any issues regarding food quality, hygiene standards, preparation errors, delays, or food-borne illnesses are the sole legal and financial responsibility of the respective third-party catering provider, not Events by D. Clients must notify us of severe food allergies in writing at least 14 days before the event, though allergen-free environments cannot be guaranteed by third-party kitchens.
5. Alcohol & Bar Catering Policy
Events by D does not hold a liquor license and does not provide, sell, serve, transport, or handle bar catering or alcoholic beverages under any circumstances. Any alcohol served at an event or wedding must be managed independently by the client, venue, or a licensed third-party bar provider holding valid local permits. Events by D is completely indemnified from any legal issues, damages, or injuries resulting from alcohol consumption.
6. Limitation of Liability
The independent Event Organizer is solely responsible for securing all local authority permits, venue safety compliance, artist presence, and show execution. Events by D shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, injury, illness, property theft, or damage sustained by attendees at any of our listed concerts, weddings, or managed events. Attendance and consumption of food or beverages are entirely at your own risk.
7. Intellectual Property
All content published on this websiteāincluding software, ticketing systems, logos, designs, text, and promotional materialsāis the exclusive intellectual property of Events by D or its licensed partners and is protected by Sri Lankan copyright laws.
